The results of medical taping are astounding. With tape, you're able to provide support; the proprioception of the horse is visible in just minutes.
This module is taught by Raquel Butler, veterinarian and an expert in the fields of anatomy and biomechanics. During the course, she will teach you the ins and outs of this new form of treatment.
The course consists of 2 days of practical sessions with lots of exercises with the horses and some theory to go with them. The module will be taught in English but is easy to follow for non-native speakers.
Taping applied in various ways, like:
– Activating the blod- and lymph circulation in case of swelling and hematoma.
– Influencing of fascia and muscles
– Scar treatment
– Sinew injuries and inflamations
– Injuries to the motion system
– Improvement of muscular functions
– Supporting the joints
After the module, you will have to write a number of study cases.

Because Racquel is a veterenarian and has mastered multiple forms of therapy (see Team Members), one can say she's a holistic veterenarian. Since her visit to the NEtherlands earlier this year, there has been a great demand for treatment by Raquel. Of course, she is happy to do so! If she sees a horse in pain, she is very eager to do something about it.
For years, Raquel has been trained by Sharon May- Davis. She's also an expert in reading X-ray photos. Many horses (and their owners) have had a breakthrough during Racquel's past courses and left the course with new insights and inspiration.
