Emma Blijdenstein
Animal physical therapist | Fascia therapist | Osteopath
For many years Emma has been working as a therapist for horses. Her training as a physical therapist was followed by training and courses in animal physiotherapy, equine taping, fascia manipulation, Equine Neurokinetic Therapy and most recently Equine Osteopathy, among others. She is mesmerized by horses, their behavior, anatomy and biomechanics. Her goals in her work include; helping horses and their owners to the best of her ability, improving horse welfare and supporting the owner in the challenge that having horses and riding can be.
“I make horse owners go that extra mile for the well-being of their horse.”
Emma is incredibly excited about her role as an instructor at Equinestudies. After taking a course and two dissections with Sharon May-Davis, Emma became increasingly in touch with Equinestudies. From this, a fine collaboration has developed. Emma is going to teach Equinestudies students about fascia. What fascia is and how to learn to feel and treat it yourself as an owner or trainer.
